A growing childcare provider based in Cheshire are currently on the lookout for a Data Engineer to join the team as they look to further build and develop their data offering.
The business has grown substantially over the last few years through multiple acquisitions, with now around 350 staff across the NW and so are now looking to make better use of their data in order to further aid their growth and internal functions. They have recently onboarded a new Director of Data - coming from an extremely well regarded background in data consultancy and management. He has essentially undertaken a greenfield project, with the aim to build a data warehouse in Azure, automate reporting through the roll out of Power Bi, and build a culture of data throughout the business.
The role will essentially be the right hand man/woman of the director, with a responsibility of building pipelines in Azure Data Factory, SQL development, creation / maintenance of the data warehouse and the implementation of Power BI. Whilst technical, this will be a business facing role with the candidate able to converse with stakeholders across the business in order to tailor data decisions and implementation.
The Successful Data Engineer Will Have The Following Experience
The role is offering a salary of between £50,000 - £55,000 with a strong benefits package which comes with up to 80% discount on childcare (with all amenities included i.e. food, formula etc where necessary), 25 days holiday + bank holidays and 1 extra day accrued per year, pension and more. The business operate a flexible hybrid working pattern, with ideally 3 days in the office per week.
