As a Senior Data Analyst, you will develop and maintain expert knowledge of the pharmacy benefits management industry, pharmacy benefit claim utilization data, and pharmacy network agreements. In this role using your expert knowledge to share insight into how the company is performing against existing pharmacy network agreements and how that performance ultimately impacts the company’s finances. You will be responsible for formulating data-driven approaches to complete tasks and solve problems and relaying complex analytic findings and conclusions in a way that is easy to understand. Other responsibilities include creating and implementing MAC price lists and price adjustments to meet goals as well as developing or assist with logic, as needed, in SAS, SQL, Excel and MS Access.

As part of the Pharmacy Analytics Team, you will provide CVS Health Senior Management with the necessary insight to better understand results and to leverage the fact-based business intelligence to make informed decisions on pharmacy reimbursement strategies.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data manipulation and analysis (including collegiate studies)
  • 1+ years of professional work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (databases containing multiple terabytes of data) and then using it to draw relevant conclusions
  • Knowledge of SAS or other statistical and database software, including STATA, SPSS, R, and SQL
  • Prior experience or knowledge of pharmaceuticals or health care industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; focus in finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, epidemiology, marketing research, accounting, economics or other data related fields preferred
