We are growing fast and have a great opportunity for a motivated and results-driven data professional specialising in digital media / marketing to join our team as a Senior Data Analyst. The role has a relatively broad focus with responsibility for all aspects of reportable performance data. From data collection, mining and API management (Python, JavaScript), through to data warehousing (CSV, SQL), with an active role in maintaining data quality and accuracy. The role would suit someone who is passionate about data modelling, and who thrives on using their knowledge and expertise to create bespoke visualisations to clarify complex data narratives through clear reporting. About the role Directly reporting to the Head of Technology and Data, you will become part of a small but forward-thinking team focused on innovation, automation, and data-driven insights. We're expanding our capabilities and developing a roadmap of innovation and advancement, and you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the team’s future. You’ll work within a team of 3, providing services for the wider agency and its clients. You will work closely with the Head of Technology and Data to deliver our vision and continue to seek new projects and opportunities. Core Responsibilities Managing ETL process and Data Management: Own end-to-end data management, from collection to visualisation. Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards for our client teams. Working on a range of projects that fulfil the vision and roadmap of the department. This could range from adding a new data source integration to our data pipeline, to developing a new product/service or learning about AI and how we can deploy it across the business. Training: Equip staff with the knowledge and tools to leverage data effectively. Objectives Data Integration: Help develop a robust and scalable ETL process. Platform Versatility: Integrate multiple platforms into our reporting suite. Visual Storytelling: Create compelling, accessible data visualisations. Client Onboarding: Implement comprehensive measurement and tracking plans for new clients. Automation & Efficiency: Aid in automating repetitive tasks. Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and machine learning. Professional Development: Foster continuous learning for yourself and the wider business. Security Compliance: Uphold data security and privacy standards. About you our ideal team member will be an entrepreneurial self-starter, who likes to bring ideas to the table, a good team player, communicative, confident, and passionate about tech and data. Eager to learn, adaptable, analytical, detail-oriented, and a strategic thinker. At least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Must-Have Skills Proficiency in PowerBI, PowerQuery, Excel, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager. Experience in data governance and API management. Strong client-facing and presentation skills. Bonus Points For Experience with: Adobe Analytics, Ad Platform tracking in Google Ads, Facebook etc. SharePoint and Office 365, project management software (Asana, Wrike, ClickUp etc.), SQL, databases, and coding languages. Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Why Oban International?
