As a new organization that we are building from scratch, we are aiming at bringing assisted and automated driving features to our roads on our journey towards autonomous driving. These in-house developed features will be deployed to the world’s largest vehicle fleet. In order to make our vision happen, the access to and the analysis of the massive amounts of data is a key enabling technology.


  • Design, development and own of powerful algorithms that process sensor data from our development fleet which support the development and quality assurance of our ADAS & Autonomous Driving functions and components
  • Analyzing large data sets on high performance computing systems
  • Development of high-quality software using state of the art technology and modern concepts for and together with our function developers and other customers
  • Finding interesting edge case scenarios in our enormous data streams
  • Delivery of prepared data and insights to other scientist
  • Supporting the development of the full autonomous driving stack


  • MSc/ PhD in statistics, physics, math, computer science or a related subject and several years of relevant and extensive experience in solving complex data science problems with the application of stochastics and statistical methods, as well as machine learning or comparable work experience
  • Extensive knowledge in the field of deep learning and frameworks like e.g. Tensorflow, Theano and/or Keras
  • Experience in building flexible data pipelines to process heterogeneous data, developing intelligent tools and creating professional visualizations for the relevant data and insights
  • Expert knowledge of Python, Java and/or C++ and experience with SQL, NoSQL and/or GIS database systems
  • Experience in GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL)
  • Knowledge in cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure, OpenStack, AWS or Google
  • Fluent communication skills in English, German is a plus
