Protiviti are looking for skilled candidates for the following role:
The Company
The client is a multinational insurance and finance corporation, headquartered in Hong Kong, with a strong presence across APAC regions.
The Role

Treasury Data Mart:
Understand data requirements for the TDM including identification of data sources, supporting data mapping, data modelling and data validation activities, supporting the migration / Extract Transform and Load (ETL) requirements for the TDM setup, and involvement in sundry matters as SME
Assess data needs and facilitate the acquisition of data from multiple sources
Perform data cleansing and pre-processing that facilitates meaningful analysis

Business Intelligence (BI) Visualisation tool:
Assist in the design, development and implementation of the overarching business intelligence dashboards, analytics and reports based on the TDM
Participate in requirements gathering workshops to help articulate the requirements for the dashboards and what metrics need to be reported
Review draft dashboards generated, including self-service dashboards

UAT for TDM and BI Visualisation tool:
Support the high-level business testing before UAT commences to ensure solutions meet the business needs and requirements
Support UAT efforts, including planning, working closely with UAT testers and participate in UAT
Support the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test results relating to data and data quality for the TDM

Business Liquidity Analytics:
Research, identify, analyse and provide implementable recommendations of key business liquidity metrics / analytics based on: a) best practices in the industry, b) our existing data points, c) gap analysis of existing data points, d) other relevant analysis
Liaise with the Data Analytics team / external parties (eg. Banks or third party consultancy firms) to implement the above and provide the data requested as per pre-agreed format

Others:
Provide inputs to the overall architecture design and framework (including data flows, sources, formats, etc)
Provide support to the project team members to perform process, system and data analysis, or any other project analysis as required to ensure quality of project delivery
Participate in Sprint-based planning and delivery including workstream meetings
Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager in order to meet project needs

Your Profile

Education:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics or computer science or equivalent

Experience:
Minimum 8 - 10 years industry experience, with prior experience of working in a project-based environment
Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets
Experience in data warehousing projects is an advantage
Exposure to programming languages such as SQL, Oracle and Python is an advantage
Experience within the financial services industry is preferred
Strong understanding and working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage
Experience working with Power BI or other data visualisation tools is preferred
Demonstrated experience and understanding of descriptive and predictive analytics, with the ability to articulate analytics based on varied data sets

Strong quantitative, mathematical and data analytical skills

Independent and takes ownership of results
High attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong spoken and written English, with Cantonese an added advantage
