The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and managing the information infrastructure. Job Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems
- Develop and implement data standards, ensuring data quality and accessibility for future use
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
- Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Data Engineering role
- At least 2+ years of experience with Apache Kafka, 5+ years of experience with Java, and 5+ years of experience with React
- Proven ability to design, build and manage data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata, and workload management
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Must be fluent in English and possess strong communication skills
