Cognizant is rapidly growing its Analytics Line within AIA (AI and Analytics) practice and seeking a Data Engineer, to serve one of one our clients.

This specific role is a Data Engineer position to build data pipeline (ETL/ELT) on AWS Cloud using Apache Spark with Python (PySpark), on AWS services like AWS Glue, or AWS EMR.
Core technical data engineering expertise and hand-on experience in Apache Spark (PySpark) technologies, AWS Glue, EMR, and other Data Services like S3, Data Pipeline, etc… is the pre-requisites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipeline (ETL or/and ELT) using Apache Spark (PySpark) on AWS cloud
- Maintain and support existing data pipeline
Role requirements:
- Previous working experience in ETL and Data modelling with knowledge in Data pipeline
- Experience in Python/ SQL and Apache Spark/ PySpark
- Experience in AWS Data products : Glue/ EMR/ S3/ Data Pipeline/ Redshift
- Domain knowledge in Insurance and IFRS 17 & IFRS 9 regulations is an advantage
- Knowledge in Aptitude is also an advantage
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
