We invite interest from financial services professionals to join our London-based team as a Data Analyst. You will work on impactful projects supporting our financial services clients and fintech partners. The ideal candidate will have delivery experience across data analytics.

About the role

The scope and nature of our client projects vary, but there are common ingredients:

Utilize data analysis skills to perform analysis on large volumes of data, including trade, client, business performance and regulatory reporting data

Research projects (competitor analysis, market research etc)

Data remediation

Analytics and reporting (for our clients and internally)

Delivering automation and seamless integration across multiple solution stack with a blend of in-house, Leading Point and third-party solutions

Ensuring that project and solution documentation is high grade, consistent and up to date

Engage with stakeholders and different teams across the client organisation such as sales, trading, marketing, operations, risk management, client outreach, audit and technology

Proposition development of our expert data practice

Salary dependant on experience.

We would love for you to have the following:
Experience

2-4 years’ experience of working as a data analyst or data scientist

Financial services or fintech industry experience

Qualification

A 2.1 degree or equivalent in STEM subject

Technical Skills

SQL, Python, R or similar

Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI or similar

Advanced Excel (Macros, VLOOKUP, PivotTables)

Advanced PowerPoint

Experience in one or more of the following: Working with databases, data management platforms, data analysis, big data, data visualisation, data remediation, AI/Machine learning

Use of digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics desirable

Up to date with industry trends and data within FS

Personal Skills

Communication – passionate and energetic in communication. Able to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders

Proactive – we are a fast paced, busy environment (sometimes hectic!) and we need people who are proactive in nature and like to use their initiative

Attention to detail – being data-driven with strong attention to detail

Commitment – can do attitude with strong work ethic and outcome focus

Team player – able to work well within dynamic and goal-focused teams

Right to work and location

Unfortunately we cannot offer sponsorship at this stage. All candidates must be based in the UK with a valid working visa and be willing to commute to London

We are currently working from home during the pandemic, however as we start returning to the office, some clients will require regular in-office days
