Our international ESIA team, supported by an extensive inter-disciplinary capability, delivers market-leading services to a wide range of international clients. Our international clients include international funding institutions (eg. EBRD, AFD, KFW, IFC, ADB), commercial banks and project developers in the mining, power, infrastructure, industry and oil & gas sectors.
We currently have an opportunity for a GIS Analyst to join our international ESIA team.
Ideally you will have significant experience of managing data collection and GIS analysis of international projects, having worked on large, multi-national projects in one or more of Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

The role
The position is based in Grenoble , France.
You will be working with SLR international ESIA project managers to manage GIS and data provided by the clients, support colleagues collecting data in the field to plan and organise the data collection, manage the primary data collected and the secondary data analyse, perform spatial analysis to inform the assessment of environmental and social impacts, and manage the databases to deliver them to our clients.
Within this role, you will:
- Manage the GIS for the different projects the International ESIA team is performing
- Perform spatial analysis and produce maps to inform the environmental and social assessments
- Ensure quality control of the data collected in the field, and organise it for delivery to the client
- Collaborate with colleagues of various disciplines to analyse secondary data, and collect primary data in the field
About you
The ideal candidate would have prior experience (2 to 5 years) working on international projects (including travels overseas in Asia or Africa) and managing multidisciplinary GIS.
