- We need a senior (10+ years) Data Scientist with excellent experience working in Capital Markets environments. Candidate will Oversee the design and development of AI ML models for deriving insights from traditional & alternative data (structured and unstructured) focused around both client and market data domains. Build cutting edge products used by various front office functions in the Capital Markets domain (e.g. Investment Bankers, Global Markets Salespeople, etc.). Work across various technical delivery and product teams to execute broad client focused projects and initiatives. ***CANDIDATES MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH CAPITAL MARKETS.

Job Description

What will you do?
- Oversee the design and development of AI ML models for deriving insights from traditional & alternative data (structured and unstructured) focused around both client and market data domains.
- Build cutting edge products used by various front office functions in the Capital Markets domain (e.g. Investment Bankers, Global Markets Salespeople, etc.).
- Work across various technical delivery and product teams to execute broad client focused projects and initiatives.
- Scale existing Advanced Analytics products and programs across singular LOB silos to cross Capital Markets products.
Must Have
- Minimum of undergraduate degree coupled with at least 5+ years overall experience in Data Science and 2+ years' experience in a leadership role
- Traditional AI-ML Experience - Building front to back AIML models with MLOps integration and active learning on the cloud
- Generative-AI Experience - Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and understanding of techniques for text generation and manipulation.
- Experience with techniques like transfer learning, K shot and no shot learning
- Experience working with Client & Alternative Data
- Strong understanding of graph theory and graph algorithms
- Strong people management skills that can foster an environment of collaborative client focused delivery
- 5+ years of financial industry experience
- 5+ years of AI and Big Data Analytics Experience
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Experience with distributed notebook environments like Databricks and/or data analytics platforms like Snowflake
