Compas is seeking Multiple Junior Data Analysts to work with our Federal Government client until 30 June 2021 with possible 2 x 6-month extensions. To be suitable for this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Capacity to focus on both current and emerging business needs.
• Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate analytics into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and achieve timely results
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment under limited supervision.
• Analytical skills, with the ability to use well-adopted specialist visualisation packages (e.g. Tableau or other closely related tools).
• A tertiary degree with a major in statistics, mathematics, finance, computer science, or a closely related discipline

The Candidate will be required to:

• Review data to determine the correct data source to meet data requirements.
• Conduct research and apply a range of analysis techniques and methods to elicit information and develop data documentation.
• Build prototype views to seek business user validation and speed up automation
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that data analysis activities meet their needs and expectations.
