As Analytics Data Engineer
you will be working with a team of data engineers, data scientists, data architects, business and tech-savvy professionals leveraging top-notch technologies to extend the potential of our analytics products in terms of data integrity, scalability, and availability.
The ideal candidate should possess a data engineering background that can lead him/her to think strategically and add value to the customer experience. As Analytics Data Engineer, you'll design and develop analytics systems and pipelines on AWS large-scale infrastructure to ensure that other teams can rely on the proper architecture, metadata, models, and support they need to run our core business.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with database design and querying (e.g. SQL, GraphQL, etc.),
including data analytics and data warehousing (e.g. Kimball model).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience implementing ETL (or ELT) best practices at scale.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS data pipeline tools (e.g. AWS Data Pipeline, AWS Glue, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, AWS Timestream, etc.) or equivalent DaaS / PaaS platforms
- Knowledge of solution architecture within web/mobile environments, web/internet-related
technologies, architecture across Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Infrastructure-
as-a-Service and cloud productivity suites.
- Experience as data engineer, database architect or database administrator who performs data
platform requirements analysis and is involved in stakeholder management.
- Ability to work, communicate effectively and influence stakeholders on internal/external
engineering teams, product development teams, sales operations teams and external partners
