As a lead you will lead discussions with the business to brainstorm and come up with machine learning based solutions for business problems. As a team lead, provide guidance and support to the Data Science Associates in your team, locally as well as globally. You will also provide support across hiring, training, performance management and development for your team members.
As a member of a diverse team, you will participate in the full engineering life cycle which includes designing, developing, optimizing, and deploying new data solutions
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of data, application and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Knowledge of industry wide data trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Expertise in using Machine Learning algorithms for solving business problems, especially in Financial Services
Exposure to Big Data (Spark/Airflow), Internal Cloud (Pivotal), External Cloud (AWS) and Visualization (Qlik)
