Project

There are two projects within the data unit you’ll be involved in.

A consent/privacy platform – a platform where users store their consent. It’s a web application, deployed in production, stable, and does not require much development. However, we need to work on the know-how and be able to extend it if needed.

The tech stack is mainly Clojure and Clojure script deployed on AWS.

A data platform – a platform that aims to provide business insights like KPIs, funnels, and reports to different business units. The plan is also to use ML tools in the future. The data platform consists of several components – responsible for different technical activities like data collection, data transformation, data streaming, reporting queries, and reports.

The main technologies there are Kafka, Postgres, Apache Druid, AWS Glue, and AWS Athena. The main programming languages are Clojure and Python.

Must have

• Cloud, infrastructure-as-code, and provisioning tools
• Data processing framework (Kafka Streams, Apache Spark)
• Storage (S3)
• DBs (PostgreSQL, windowing functions)
• Distributed systems, Fault-tolerance (Druid, Kafka, Zookeeper)
• Programming language (functional, JVM-language, Python)
• Nice to have
• Containers and container-orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Modern alerting and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana)
• CI/CD
