BI Developer and Technical Data Analyst – Norwich (Band 7 Substantive NHS Secondments considered)

Fixed term until 31st March 2022

The Role Includes: -
Developing data driven solutions to support Business Intelligence analysts refine complex NHS datasets into insightful reports.
Problem solving and simplifying disparate data sets from various NHS sources to create patient level pathway analysis (via linked patient level data sets) and create environments to allow data exploration.
Supporting the development and roll out of Self-Service reporting via BI platforms principally via Power BI.

Our local team forms part of a bigger Business Intelligence unit operating under the authority of Norfolk & Waveney CCG based in Norwich.

Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU) is an NHS organisation, providing quality services to NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), NHS England teams and local authorities across England.

This exciting opportunity has been created to provide a dedicated focus on supporting the team with improving the management and distribution of the data it processes and controls. This will not only help with the regular health commissioning process, but form part of a wider project that puts data at the heart of Population Health Management and improving patient outcomes across the emerging Integrated Care System (ICS)

An individual who can demonstrate a desire to promote change and question current processes through creative use of data, backed up by the technical skills to enable this with a proven track record for delivery is an ideal match to join our team.

Based in Norwich and working across Norfolk & Waveney, the successful candidate will form a key part of a specialist BI team. Working with various Health and social care stakeholders they will build strong relationships and become part of future decision making projects that have a real impact locally on NHS services.

The successful candidate should expect to work in a fast-paced environment operating to key deadlines and delivering quality results through a well-managed team. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to develop skills (working closely with teams that operate at a Regional and National level) and make a genuine contribution to the local health system within a forward-thinking NHS organisation.

Currently due to the COVID 19 pandemic the team is working from home and as such it’s expected that this post will also initially be working remotely.
