What you'll be doing:

Reporting into the Engineering Chapter, you will be working with SQL, Tableau, Python, and various AWS services for various data analytics tasks. The Data Engineer will liaise with different teams to build out requirements for various business units, create tableau dashboards, and request data transformations.
  • Liaise with both non-technical and technical staff to understand and gather data requirements. Use SQL, Python, and AWS services (Athena, Glue, etc.) to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Create impactful Tableau dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the data platform team to ensure correct data transformation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including underwriting and technical staff, to understand their data needs and effectively translate complex data findings into actionable insights
  • Participate in Agile squad activities and contribute to the team's success

What you'll need:
  • Data Engineer experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
  • Experience working with AWS services such as Athena, Glue, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and working within an Agile squad.
