They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer with specialised expertise in antibodies and 3D property prediction. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing innovative machine learning models to advance our understanding of antibody structures, functions, and properties.

Responsibilities

  • Work together to curate, preprocess, and analyse datasets pertaining to antibodies in collaboration with biologists and bioinformaticians.
  • Create and implement machine learning models to forecast three-dimensional (three-dimensional) features of antibodies, including immunogenicity, binding affinity, and structural stability.
  • Make use of cutting-edge machine learning methods and algorithms to improve the precision and effectiveness of predictive models.
  • To enhance model performance, find and incorporate pertinent information from antibody sequences and structures.
  • Constantly refine models in response to input from domain experts and experimental outcomes.
  • Keep up with the most recent developments in computational biology, antibody research, and machine learning to provide the team with creative ideas.

Background

  • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Biology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated machine learning expertise with an emphasis on bioinformatics, antibodies, or similar fields.
  • Experience working in a Biotech/Pharma/CRO environment is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of important machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and strong programming abilities in languages like Python.
  • Experience with databases and techniques for predicting antibody structures.
  • Prior experience with molecular dynamics simulations and 3D property prediction is very advantageous.
  • Proficient communication abilities and the capacity to work well in a multidisciplinary group.

If you are passionate about leveraging machine learning to advance antibody research and contribute to the future of biotechnology, I encourage you to apply and join this dynamic team.
