Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence, you will have the following
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Researches business problems, define, design, and implement business intelligence reporting needs and dashboard solutions to address business problems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data and data platforms, and build optimal business case for business growth
Advise business stakeholders on how to measure their business processes or advising on good metrics to use for different processes.
Identify what are the right things to measure from insight during the requirement gathering process and ensure requirements are align with what insights are business stakeholders looking for.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize overall efficiency and improve quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
2 - 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst with advanced level of computer skills, including Excel, Access, SQL, SAS, Tableau, or BI Reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Identifying new ideas, techniques and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance and productivity is essential
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
