Data Analyst (Python/R)

Successful candidate will be joining public institution, involved large project for data mapping, modeling and analyze etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare training material, conduct online and face to face training/workshop to students and research staff on using software & tool for research
• Support, maintain and upgrade of research applications, data analytic tools and machine learning software to ease student and research staff adoption;
• Participate in research applications development project;
• Perform system software administration on research computing platform

Requirements

• Have a recognized degree in Computing, Software Engineering or related discipline;
• Preferable have three years hands on experience on Python or R programming; Candidate with less experience is also preferred
• Familiar with data analytics software and tools;
• Preferably with experience in applying machine Learning algorithms to solve business problem;
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Have proficiency on written and spoken English, as well as fluency in written and spoken Chinese, including Putonghua.
