Grace Health
Stockholm

About our work at Grace.health

Working with Grace is working in the sweet spot of cutting edge tech and impact driven entrepreneurship. Based in Stockholm, we're a passionated team committed to make female health accessible to women all around the world by leveraging tech (such as ML and NLP) to build a women's health clinic in the privacy of your own phone.

Currently we are focusing on building a chatbot that enable women to track and plan their period, understand their fertility and get answers to important questions about reproductive and sexual health. Addressing the low middle income countries (LMIC) gives us plenty of room to explore and essentially help expose new markets and its potential to the rest of the world.

About the role

Our products are specifically designed for our user base, meaning that low data centricity and high accessibility are core. As an intern you will be part of the engineering team dedicated to always improve our user experience and how we deliver women's health at scale. Your role will be to:

  • Deep dive into our data to answer important questions about our users, our product and our market
  • Take part in discussions on how to best capture the data we need, and how to best evolve our product
  • Extensively query our databases, peer review analytical findings, and communicate them via Jupyter notebooks and sharing sessions with the company
  • Learn how our product works, in particular the core natural language processing and machine learning tools involved, so as to better do analytics around our content
  • Depending on your interest, be involved in our Experiments test squad and participate to product discovery

During your internship, you will be actively mentored by our tech lead, who has an extensive data science background.

About you

You are a person who isn't satisfied until something actually works, not only when it looks pretty. You understand that true value comes when function and beauty meet and you are not afraid to go beyond what is conventional, normative and traditional. We think that you will work best with us if:

  • You are a hungry problem solver that wants to keep learning every day
  • You are digital at the core
  • You are late in your degree or have completed a BA/BSc, Masters or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, science, engineering, economics), and are looking to start your career in data; otherwise, 1.5+ years of previous work experience as Product or Data Analyst is a must
  • You have basic experience with SQL and Python (or R)
  • You are self driving and feel ownership over everything you do
  • You are a strong communicator and thrive from working in a team
  • You are kind, empathetic, curious and eager to work with each of us!

You are based out of our HQ in Stockholm. The role is full time. We can pay a monthly compensation, but mostly we offer a one of a kind opportunity to grow, take ownership and contribute with your knowledge and insights to a fast-paced startup with a real impact on the society. Also, we will open our network and share great references for top performers.
