Position Title: Data Scientist
Location: Alpharetta, GA *Can work remotely*
Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning technologies to innovate current Change Healthcare operations. Convert ambiguous requirements to mathematical AI models that can be trained and deployed to solve business problems. Create product pipelines that are scalable and flexible. Develop AI models to extract medical information from scanned patients’ chart. Mentor junior data scientists to develop various AI models, like date detection, document section detection etc.
Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of scientific study. One (1) year of experience with one of the following areas: conversational AI, natural language processing (NLP) or deep neural networks.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:
- One scripting language such as Python, Scalar, or PySpark;
- SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Natural language processing for information retrieval from documents;
- Deep Learning Platforms such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, and Keras; and
- AWS including EMR, S3, EC2, SageMaker, or other AI Platform.
Employer will accept skills gained in pursuit of a graduate-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships.
