The CompanyNigel Wright are delighted to be working with a leading consumer services company in their search for a Data Analyst. This is a brand new position which will bridge the marketing and IT functions to turn data into actionable marketing strategy.
The RoleThe Data Analyst will provide data backed customer and retail insights which will shape the company's future marketing strategy. This role holder will work with both the IT and Marketing functions to develop accurate data sets and present findings in a constructive way to stakeholders. Key role responsibilities include;
- Extract information from the consumer and retailer database to produce meaningful insights on consumer requirements, consumer profile, and branch performances
- Manage the CRM data set to ensure it is effective as a marketing asset
- Develop data capture tools
- Utilise data to influence internal stakeholders and shape marketing campaigns
The PersonThe ideal candidate will understand the marketing function of a consumer services business and have an analytical mindset. They will be able to take complex data sets and present meaningful insights in an easily digestible format. High attention to detail and excellent communication / presentation skills are crucial. The ideal person will have experience in consumer or retailer data analytics, be comfortable with tools such as SQL or Power BI, be proficient with excel, and be interested in how data can drive decision making.
