In this role, you will become a member of pulseData's rockstar engineering team. You'll be set up in an environment to grow fast and flex your data science/engineering background.

pulseData leverages data science and machine learning for Hospitals and Healthcare companies, to identify patients at risk of a bad, avoidable medical outcome. Our bespoke suite of products not only impacts our customers, but it prevents the suffering of thousands of patients who can receive the care they need before they know they need it. The work you'll do here has a massive impact.

The Role:
You'll be actively working with the data that we receive from our clients and completing such tasks such as validation checks, and advanced analytics.
You'll be learning SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) to effectively transfer the data that we receive from our clients.
You'll work with all types of healthcare data but primarily medical record data and claims data and will become a subject matter expert on processes.
You'll flex your python skills on a daily basis with the option to be client facing where possible.

Your Background:
Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (Masters or higher preferred)
You bring 1-2 years of engineering experience within the healthcare space.
You have excellent communication skills
You have professional programming experience in Python.
You're a quick learner with a passion for data science.
You've got data normalization experience & excellent analytical abilities.
Bonus points for experience with: CMS, CCLF files processing, HL7 data feeds, or FHIR format
