Quality Information (YQI) is a fantastic team of data engineers and analysts within R&D at Scania. We work with data analysis and management of information connected to the contract sales, quality KPI's and BI-tools to analyse the quality of Scania’s products. Since quality is a core value at Scania a sustainable data flow is fundamental.

In this role you will have the opportunity to further develop the current ETL flow and data staging structures at YQI. In cooperation with other data engineers you will develop a new data warehouse and a sustainable ETL-flow that will support both advanced analytics and self-service BI solutions. You will be part of a group with different expertise and responsibilities, that always strive for a common goal as a team. To be successful at your job, you have to understand the big picture and take responsibly for your own work as well as helping the team whenever it is needed.

Your profile
We believe you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in systems or computer science or equivalent work experience. It is also recommended for you to have good language skills in both Swedish and English in speech and writing. As a person you are described as curious and having the desire to develop, have excellent problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in developing in the role as a IT developer. It is considered as a benefit/advantage if you have previous experience of big data technologies and Data Vault modelling. Knowledge or experience is also required in the following areas:
