What You’ll Get to Do

As a Data Scientist on the SAFFIRE Data Analytics Team, you will be working closely with Agile development teams and other Data Scientists to analyze complex problems in Computer Vision, including model and system performance. You will be responsible for developing processes, techniques and tools to analyze DeepLearning models, evaluate and compare human and machine generated data, and guide development teams in improving the system. You will be a key member of the team, gaining important insights, and doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps.

More About the Role

Specific Responsibilities:

• Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI access
• Desire to solve complex problems
• Experience with statistical programming languages like R, Python, SLQ, etc.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, including DeepLearning
• Experience in statistics and data mining techniques

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• Experience with GitLab, BitBucket, GitHub Enterprise or similar source repository
• Experience with Jenkins or GitLab for Continuous Integration
• Experience with building/compiling Java, Python or Javascript applications
• Experience with Nexus or similar artifact repository
• Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

• Masters or greater in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
• Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions
• Experience with GPUs to speed data Model Training
• Experience with Data Science Tools in an AWS Environment
