RISQ/RMA is the department in charge of the Market Risk management within SG. It groups all risk related functions from model definitions to certification and monitoring. The Market Risks are encompassing VaR, PnL and Counterparty Credit risks. RISQ/RMA/MMG/DDO/ASI (Digital Design Office) is responsible for deploying and maintaining the End-User computing software mostly coded in Python.
- Maintain and enhance existing End-User Computing software written in VBA or Python
- Work closely with Risk Analyst to improve their processes and prepare integration into global tools
- Lead new development project independently
- Communicate with users to get new enhancement
- Study the impact of new requests on existing applications and processes
- Deliver enhancement on budget and on time
- Work in an agile model to deliver solutions
- Propose innovative technical solutions and implement them using the latest technologies
- Assist to adapt existing processes to new FinTech technologies including machine learning, big data, robotic process automation, data visualization and natural language processing
The V.I.E. will be offered the chance to learn the required programming skill on-the-job even if he/she does not meet the requirement, if he/she shows they have potential to fit in the job.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Computer Science, Mathematics and Engineering
- A previous experience in VBA or C# would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Knowledge of any one of object oriented programming language (e.g. C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc)
- Good understanding of financial market is a plus
- Good communication and presentation skills
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Honk Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact there that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
