What Shippeo does
Our product is composed of a mission critical SaaS web platform, with high traffic inbound/outbound integrations. Our mission is to anticipate problems and proactively alert end-customers so they can efficiently manage exceptions. We achieve this by collecting and matching millions of theoretical and real data from different stakeholders.
Shippeo gives visibility to shippers, carriers and customers by answering the following questions:
where is the truck, and are there any foreseeable delays?
what has actually been loaded and/or delivered, and are there any discrepancies?
what are the levers for improvement for the transport operations?
The technical team is structured in three Tribes, each split into multiple feature teams:
1. Connect & Go Live: quickly connect shippers & carriers to have the project ‘live’
2. Track to React: make our product as sticky as possible for daily users
3. Analyze & Predict: leverage our data to build data products (extraction, analytics, decision support tools, algorithms)
What you will do
We are looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst to join our growing Track To React Tribe. The Track To React team is responsible for making our product as sticky as possible by leading initiatives that target two metrics: the tracking rate and the NPS.
In the scope of the tribe falls the following responsibilities:
Manage and expose the lifecycle of 3 million yearly tracked loads
Generate relevant multi-channel alerts to inform our users and/or call them to actions
Enhance cross-enterprise collaboration by digitizing and automating business processes
Increase volume and granularity of load tracking with a mobile application for drivers
As a Senior Product Data Analyst, you will be reporting directly to the Tribe Product Director and will be focused on turning data into information, and information into insights. You will be responsible for:
Bringing data expertise to the Tribe team by conducting in-depth analyses that help validate assumptions and orientate the product roadmap
Collaborating with Product Managers to define the relevant business and technical metrics and track them
Building internal dashboards to measure product adoption and drive the decisions that need to be made, in the short, mid and long term
Assisting the feature teams of the Tribe on all data-related topics
Sharing best practices within the data team in BI, analysis, modeling, and advancing the data stack to make the team ever more productive
Activities will include the following:
Acquire an in-depth understanding of the Tribe’s products, technology and roadmap
Perform analyses through the use of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques
Build dashboards with the right data visualizations and communicate findings to various stakeholders
Oversee the delivery and quality of regular reports and released dashboards
You have a technical and/or analytical background
You’ve worked for a minimum of 5 years as a Data Analyst in a fast-moving environment
You have a natural ability to make things happen around you
You are at ease with Tableau Software
You have strong knowledge and experience with relational databases (SQL, data modelling)
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Your are adept at writing reports and presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences
