About The Client

Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for a BI / Data Analyst to join their busy team for a 12 month temporary assignment.

About The Role

As a BI / Data Analyst, you will produce reports, interpret data and analyse results using standard statistical techniques. In addition, you will:

  • Coordinate divisional and branch reporting requirements to monitor and track improvement and performance outcomes.
  • Develop business functional requirements and resources, consistent with contractual, legislative and policy environments.
  • Translate business metrics to inform internal stakeholder requirements including efficiency, improvement and performance outcomes to optimise customer experience.
  • Design and deliver workshops, communication and consultation resources that support complex systems and business information gathering and sharing.
  • Establish and implement governance and compliance processes, dashboards and management systems to track branch and divisional performance against plans and targets.
  • Implement and maintain audit and risk processes, controls and undertaking issues resolution.
  • Supporting case management system data quality monitoring, analysing data and assisting in developing FFT reporting structures.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Data Analysis role within the Government, Disability, Aged Care or Healthcare space.
  • Proven ability to evolve solutions using analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience interpreting data and presenting insights to diverse audiences
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent time management and planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent team-working skills.

Benefits

  • $60.26 per hour + super
