Manages Compliance and Privacy Office (CPO) data analytics and reporting processes. Is the subject matter expert for data analytics, database management and data extracts. This role also develops the infrastructure to document, update, and maintain policies and procedures for CPO to ensure data integrity and data management. Ensures that all reports are documented with source and fields to ensure consistency and data integrity. With documented job aids, prepares reports such as but not limited to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for CPO and client departments and strives to create automation to reduce manual reporting/metrics needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares CPO reports for all divisions on a scheduled basis. Develops and automates department reports. Generates ad-hoc reports as needed. Develops automated reporting workflow as often as possible.
- Serves as SME for data analytics, database management and data extracts/information from core systems; designs and generates data analytics infrastructure to generate reports, metrics and dashboards.
- Generates Compliance data reports, metrics and prepares data for executive presentations. Prepares schedule and ensures timely completion of reports and dashboards.
- Trains staff on dashboard development and ensures documentation is created for all data reports/metrics to maintain integrity and accuracy.
- Manages Education Database, conducts periodic quality reviews of CPO Education database/systems to identify data integrity and/or unfinished tasks needing attention. Escalates overdue tasks; follows up to ensure system integrity is maintained.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities to effectively utilize all available tools and resources. Develops appropriate standardized templates and report packages specific to needs of client departments.
- Responsible for daily/monthly/annual metrics and data to assist in tracking/trending productivity and risk for department/institution. Generates reports on identified risk areas; prepares data for risk assessment; monitors those areas monthly.
- Develops project plan goals, tasks and deadlines for assigned projects. Reports results as progress is made and presents finalized project results for final approval. Presents at institutional and departmental lectures/meetings.
- Provides training for newly hired billing compliance staff. Ensures staff is proficient utilizing standardized audit systems, tools and methodologies of CPO. Troubleshoots and assists staff with audit platform technical issues as needed.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree
Experience
5-7 years’ experience in data analytics.
Proven ability to plan for and achieve productivity standards.
Advanced experience in data analysis and reporting.
Experience building and maintaining databases.
Experience in Sharepoint development and Qualtrics. .
Experience working in a fast-paced highly matrixed organization.
Experience in creating executive presentations and/or preparing data for executive presentations/review is preferred.
Project Management skills/training highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Publisher.
- Strong data analytic skills, experience managing databases and data integrity and proficiency in learning core central systems and downloading and organizing data.
- Highly organized individual with ability to work independently and maintain confidential, professional relationships with a variety of personnel.
- Exceptional analytical skills, ability to multi-task and to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Detail oriented, proactive and resourceful.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
