This role will support the development of our clients data strategy and have responsibility for managing their data, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to address challenges through data innovation and new opportunities for the business.
You will support and coach the business to visualise the benefits of data and provide the drive to create a digital culture and data driven business where digital and data is at the heartbeat of the Company.
Role & Responsibilities
Use an evolving range of data analysis tools and techniques.
Build credible statistical models from data using the best coding practices to generate reproducible work.
Stakeholder management and functional teams, to both educate staff on the possibilities of ML and to identify opportunities where ML, AI and data analytic methods can be used in the construction environment.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3-years experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods and data and coding tools
Experienced in building and implementing models, algorithms and creating/running simulations and data architectures.
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, etc.) to manipulate data, and draw insights from large data sets.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Proven experience with SQL, BI tools and spreadsheets.
