We are currently looking for
Data Engineer BI, who wishes to join our project.
Our client is a financial services company that specializes in providing insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. They offer a range of products, including life, health, and property insurance, and pride themselves on their exceptional customer service.
Roles And Responsibilities
Your team will primarily maintain, innovate, and develop how genomic data and metadata are stored, interacted with (by applications & end users), prepared for business analytics functions, archived for release cycles & reprocessing, and ensure that delivery teams are supported by robust data infrastructure solutions. To achieve this you will need to engage with internal teams throughout Sanger but especially the Surveillance Operations delivery teams to ensure projects are fulfilled.
Required Skills And Experience
- Very good knowledge of Apache Spark
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting
- Python and the PEP 8 style guide
Nice to have
- Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform and Ansible
- Confident use of Kafka or Prefect
