CaseWhen is a Berlin-based Data & Business Intelligence consultancy. We believe that great work is the product of healthy minds. That’s why we give everyone an extra day off each week, plus periodic self-improvement days. You’ll be helping us build great analytics reporting solutions for our clients, with a great team, and while well-rested!

CaseWhen is currently just the two co-founders, Saju and Austin. We connected over the need for a more meaningful and sustainable work life. Our goal is to deliver awesome output for our clients, and never at the expense of our well-being. And we’re looking for our very first fellow consultant.

Tasks

• Help our clients with a wide range of data needs: defining KPIs, data modelling & warehousing, dashboard & report building, data validation & cataloguing
• Experience a wide range of industries and tech stacks; some of our clients go fully Microsoft, while others use modern SaaS tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt, Looker) — recommend and implement the tools you love as well
• Be a founding influence on the direction and culture of our company — it’s your company too!

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience as a data professional (e.g. Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering)
• Top-notch, efficient SQL skills using modern cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Experience with other programming languages is a plus (e.g. Python for Airflow)
• Experience developing with BI tools like Looker, PowerBI, Metabase or similar
• Proven ownership of data-related projects from start to finish
• Tales of meaningful impacts on those you’ve worked closely with
