Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist to join our Data, Analytics & Architecture organisation, to help us in our mission to build great products backed by intelligent data-driven features. We are looking for someone with strong skills in advanced analytics and ML modelling, with a keen interest in web-based data and a strength in an area such as NLP, time series modelling and forecasting. Along with your data science colleagues in the same area of business, you will develop, deploy and maintain innovative models at scale that tackle some of the most interesting Data Science use cases within our business. The desire to develop data-driven features within online products is a must!

To succeed in this role you will have a strong technical background in Data Science and experience working in a fast-paced commercial organisation. You must have an adaptable mindset, and good knowledge of the interface between data science and engineering. Experience of working in an interdisciplinary team is a big plus, and we would love it if you already have some experience of working with data from web applications.

In your role:

• You will be involved in some of our most exciting Data Science projects: ranging from natural language processing to pattern recognition and trend analysis
• Along with other team members, you will develop and maintain the models that we use to create a truly data-driven, intelligent, product offering
• You will own, maintain and deploy production-ready ML models and analyse data to help us understand what we should build next
• You'll work alongside engineering and product colleagues to deliver the data science component of strategic projects
• You'll be joining a friendly, international, team of like-minded people in central Copenhagen

We are looking for:

• Experience with analytical and quantitative problem solving using advanced statistical techniques and ML methods for online content, e.g. sentiment from text, sequence analysis, forecasting and trend analysis
• Knowledge of Python and SQL is a must, and we would love it if you already have some data engineering skills (e.g Airflow). Prior knowledge of NLP and text analysis on large datasets is a bonus.
• The ability to adapt, learn, collaborate and participate in driving forward our use of Data Science to build intelligent, data-driven features
• The desire to work with stakeholders and the ability to communicate well with those in other technical functions
• A minimum BA/BSc degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related quantitative degree
• Several years of relevant technical experience for a Data Scientist role and an even further depth of experience for a Senior position, preferably in the technology sector or in a technical consultancy.
