With the experience of maintaining more than 36,000 kilometres of road in Australia, DM Roads understands the cycle of planning, delivery and review of maintenance and improvement works. DM Roads provides pavement rehabilitation, sealing and paving solutions to deliver end-to-end value in the management of road networks.

An opportunity has become available for a Reporting/Data Analyst (SQL/SSIS/Power BI) to join our DM Roads, Asset Management Services team based in Eastern Creek, Sydney . In this role you will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing information management system based on Business Intelligence (BI) systems. Working together with our experienced subject matter experts in IOT, Power platform and artificial intelligence you will be implementing innovative approaches and IT industry best practices.

ABOUT YOU

You will hold tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent tertiary qualification with quantitative research experience

Preferable 3 years of industry work experience, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Programming skills in T-SQL, Python and/or R , data visualisation skills in Power BI specially DAX, Custom Visuals

Experience in configuration, deployment and administration of SQL Server database management system, reporting and BI services (report templates, BI Dashboard, App) using MS Power Platform , SharePoint, MS Team and related Office 365 products

Practical knowledge of process/workflow automation, high level problem solving and decision-making skills using MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power App , MS Flow, AI Builder), SSRS and SSIS .

Good understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse , DMV, Performance Tuning, analytical model building and machine learning exposure

Strong problem-solving skills, thinking out of the box, making a real-world difference

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
