Contribute to the vision and road-map which enables the enterprise to provide better value and services to the customers
Challenge and mentor data scientists
Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to support development and enhancement of advanced analytical models, build quality relationships to understand business opportunities and guide and educate business stakeholders in terms of what is possible
Provide business subject matter expertise that supports Data Engineers to develop data sourcing and ingestion, develop and maintain data and analytics policies, processes, & standards and provide input to broader Information Management strategy
Create and maintain analytical models to support business outcomes and decision making, create automated testing capability for advanced analytics models and support the establishment and implementation of a prioritisation process for data and analytics
Support the Team Leader to manage the analytics pipeline and provides technical mentorship to Data Scientists and the broader analytics community
Experience
Essential tech stack: Python, SQL
Databricks desirable
Demonstrated experience in using and implementing statistical modelling and machine learning algorithms for business outcomes
High level of strategic problem-solving skills and initiative
Ability to prepare and deliver written and verbal communications including presentations to groups
