The North Face EMEA is looking for an exceptional Marketing Data Analyst​ to join our Marketing team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

The role


The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for managing and collaborating with the entire Marketing organization, Consumer Insights, Sales, Retail, Digital, Product and Finance teams, in order to create a holistic view of all relevant data linked to The North Face EMEA Marketing, with a focus on MROI and budget management.

This role requires a proven track record in data/financial analysis, as well as in generating fact based recommendations based on business data insights.

The objectives of this role are to improve MROI results and ensure best in class marketing budget management.


What you will do


  • Create, develop and manage marketing data models to continuously improve MROI results and optimize budget allocation / management.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Consumer Insights, Sales, Retail and Digital departments to gather, consolidate and analyse all relevant data (sell through, investment choices, conversion rates, traffic, engagement, brand health tracking metrics, equity scores, etc.)
  • Create post-campaign report and provide insights on marketing campaign effectiveness by collaborating with various marketing and channel teams.
  • Drive communication flow across and within the Marketing team (in the HQ and across all local markets) to facilitate and streamline budget management, from plans to actuals
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting departments to ensure full compliance with VF policies as well as channelling communication, exchange and validation of all financial data related to The North Face Marketing EMEA
  • Leverage and integrate all data insights to deliver fact-based recommendations to improve MROI results and optimize marketing budget resources. Share insights with other departments to nurture scientific and data driven decision-making across the brand.
  • Work closely with Corporate BI and Marketing Analytics to drive the automerization of marketing budget reporting and improve work efficiency.
  • Support in managing, monitoring and reporting advertising budget to maximize ROI and achieve financial plans. Track and monitor budget on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with company approved numbers



Skills for Success


  • Possessing a Financial, Statistical or Business Degree is advantageous
  • Previous, relevant experience in a finance, analytical, research and business function that requires strategic planning and execution will be a true asset
  • Understanding of The North Face brand with a passion for the outdoor and athletic industries
  • An excellent command of the English language
  • Strong Excel skills, combined with other IT programs and reporting tools
