Senior Business & Data Analyst – Remote Working

12 Month Contract

Position Summary:

The Senior Business & Data Analyst is responsible for building global data models from a variety of data sources, ensuring data integrity, identifying critical business insights which facilitate decision making and supporting communication to various levels of management.

Specific Job Duties:

• Demonstrate up to date expertise in various data analytical tools, particularly, but not limited to Power BI
• Integrate into various Global Supply Chain initiatives, including inventory optimization, forward looking revenue risk.
• Understand various data sources and how they can be collated to build repeatable data models
• Use tools such as Power BI to create data analytics that create business insights to allow decision making and evaluation of the success of various initiatives
• Support updates to Senior Management on the successes expected and delivered
• Identify areas for data quality improvement and work towards bridging those gaps
• Collaborate with other team members, guiding team members on the use of data analytics and the benefit of utilizing same

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field desired, with demonstrated focus on continuous education in field of data analytics.

Work Experience:

• Knowledge and experience in Multinational work environment
• Significant knowledge and experience of SQL databases and Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience in significant business analytical projects, including leadership roles.
• Problem solving and analytical thinking
• A capacity to assess and understand the impact of change
• Ability to be successful within a matrix-reporting environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries.
• Strong teamwork and negotiation skills and the ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
