ABN AMRO’s Chatbot teams design and develop the next generation of applications. Building software is great, but building software for around 5 million end-users is better! While this means we value our top notch quality standard, you’ll work with the best professionals in software development. Your team is responsible to speed up and strengthen the digital transformation by designing, implementing and supporting our Chatbot application using Data and AI Technologies. Our aim is to continuously improve the innovative Chatbot and to help our customers. It’s important to keep steering toward great UX, excellent functionality and seamless integration with our other solutions.
As a Data Scientist your goal will be to continuously improve the intelligence behind our AI-driven chatbot; Anna. Together with your team you are responsible for developing machine learning applications, enhancing the existing applications and work in tandem with black box services. You will be working closely with developers, engineers and conversation designers, because your solutions will need to be built into production and reach our customers directly. Your most important responsibility will be to model your way through large amounts of text data in order to make our chatbot help customers in the most relevant way. You can create a vision and share this vision with stakeholders to set the horizon.Working environment
ABN AMRO is becoming more and more a digital bank where customers are enabled to do simple banking activities themselves. Our employees are experienced and knowledgeable advisors who can help customers with more complex questions. ABN AMRO's chatbot(s) are aiming to resolve simple questions from customers that need support. This way these questions will also be answered quickly and 24hrs per day in a customer friendly way. At the moment we support a Chatbot for Retail customers and a Chatbot for internal employees. The Retail Chatbot is rapidly growing in number of users and resolved questions. Creating more customer focussed Chatbots is part of our roadmap.
