Senior Data Engineer - Azure, Power-BI, SQL, Python

An Investment Management Firm is looking for a Senior Data engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Data Engineer to be responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them technical solutions that will automate the risk teams BAU Activity & Processes, whilst working alongside the Business to achieve completion of a green field project.

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable ETL pipelines using modern data warehouse framework on Azure platform
• Build data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics
• Build Power BI reports, publish to Power BI workspaces & Apps & secure through AAD integration
• Create, test, and deploy production ETL / ELT data pipelines and associated software components

Skills required:

• Experienced Azure Data Engineer with significant BI expertise
• Demonstrated commercial experience as a Data Engineer, able to T-SQL code with unit test framework and industry best practices
• Significant experience in Azure platform, Azure Data Factory / Synapse Analytics Workspace, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage Accounts
• Proven experience in python
• Experience in creating Power BI Dashboards
• Good communication skills - (written and verbal)
