Core Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be sharing the responsibility to drive our data infrastructure agenda to enable data driven decisions and next level analytics in our supply chain. The main responsibilities for the role are to
- Maintain, manage and improve our data pipeline (Databricks & Azure components)
- Setup new data sets, semantic models or pipelines and ensure proper documentation (Confluence, GitHub)
- Function as our connection to the data office ensuring alignment with NEXUS strategy
- Participate in full width of pipeline deployments, we mostly do Gold layer (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- Trial and implement new technology into our workspaces – currently we are working on enabling table optimized AI to allow anyone to get immediate insights via our data

You will join Performance and Quality Management in Billund, a dedicated data and analytics hungry team of ten. We are part of Supply Chain Management and support our mould manufacturing, sourcing, and development with data infrastructure, reporting, and analytics.
Do you have what it takes?
To be successful in this role we imagine that you have experience with data pipelines and thrive in being the “backend” knowledgeable and responsible in a team of analysts, data scientists and report builders. Abilities that will ensure your success could be
- Proven understanding of structured and unstructured data and their storage options
- Proficient in Databricks platform management / admin
- Proficient in SQL, python, or scala and distributed cloud computing
- Proficient in redefining data including orchestration and data pipeline monitoring
- Proficient in one of the cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) - mainly but not limited to data stack (storage, transformation, load, automation and visualization)
- Ability and desire to communicate with business & IT stakeholders
- Ability to set direction for development that matches business needs
- SAP / SAP HANA knowledge is an advantage
