Senior Azure Data Engineer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: Public transport
• Business trips: Visit the DK office once every 2months for 2-3 days.
• Hybrid Model (Warsaw office 2-3 days a week).
• Project language: English (required), Polish
• Team consists of Polish and Danish colleagues
• Remuneration: Up to 200-210 PLN +VAT
• Project length: possibly 2-year contracts to begin with + extensions
• Business trips: onboarding + trips to DK around every two months
• Start: the beginning of February

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We’re phasing out an old data platform based on Informatica Power Center and shifting to the new one based on Azure. Some work has been done already and now they need help with getting the data in on the new platform, modelling it and deciding where to go next.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Expert in data-modelling
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake)
• Experience with data-modelling in Azure (Synapse) in notebook
• Deltalake database – Lakedatabase with delta-tables
• Strong Python and/or SQL skills
• Working with APIs
• Data platform tooling expertise (e.g. orchestration frameworks, data monitoring tooling, CI/CD processes)
• Lakehouse approach to building data solution
• Experience in creating data quality solutions
• Experience in creating master data management solutions
• Candidates who are communicative, open, proactive, challenging
