The IS Data Analyst is responsible for supporting Tenet’s evolving IS department by assisting with new project due diligence, testing, detailed analytics, ad hoc reporting, and various other essential tasks.
Assessment of new applications including user acceptance testing and communication of status.
Perform ad hoc analysis based on leaderships requirements.
Root cause analysis and problem solving of previous analysis and/or new systems.
Project management and escalation as required to ensure projects stay on track and deadlines are met.
Technical writing and documentation of process flows, best practices, and newly developed applications.
4-year college degree in business, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance, to help drive project plans and stay on target
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to gather unique insights through data analysis
Willing to raise concerns to leadership as required
Independent thinker with new innovative ideas
Established track record of providing useful data insights
Capable of creating Excel models from start to finish
Experience or training in the IS space with knowledge of application development, concepts, and methodologies
Experience using Microsoft’s suite of applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
