Job description

The Data Analyst, working under the direct supervision of the Chief Information Officer, will be responsible for ensuring the development, enhancement and automation of daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and dashboards utilized throughout the parts, sales, service and rental divisions.

  • Work daily on required and requested reporting needs of the organization.
  • Schedule and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly reports to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for operational reporting to the Chief Information Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Collaborate with the Business Systems Analyst to collect data-related challenges from the organization.
  • Collaborate meticulously with Financial Analysts to ensure all reports and dashboards accurately reflect financial results.
  • Direct our reporting platform vendor (TARGIT) in the creation of data sources tables in preparation for display.
  • Create dashboards and reports for use by the organization.
  • Train employees as necessary in the correct interpretation of all dashboards and reports
  • Ensure all dashboards and reports are continually accurate and updated appropriately.
  • Participate in all IT Department planning sessions and team meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related data field required.
  • 2-3 years of consecutive data-related experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in an MS Office environment, advanced skills in Excel required.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of personal integrity with the ability to gain and maintain the trust of the organization.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate and collaborate with executives, managers, employees, vendors and customers.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple and often competitive projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to evaluate requests from the organization and prioritize according to department guidelines and ensure all work aligns with the stated strategic goals and critical success factors of the organization.

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside throughout the year.
  • Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, writing and physical presence at the job location are required to complete job responsibilities.
