A great opportunity has arisen for a London-based technologist with significant data analytics and AI skillset. Datatech is helping a London-based global consulting firm find an experienced Consultant Data Scientist to join their Data Science team, and the role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

As a Data Scientist, you will be part of the company’s R&D function, selecting, testing and applying ML and artificial intelligence methods to conduct predictive analytics. You will also be conducting research, keeping an eye on the market, and developing pricing, sales and marketing strategies.

To apply for this unique international role, you will need impressive analytical capabilities, including the following:
  • Expertise in selecting and applying AI and ML methods such as Neural Networks and Support Vector Machines
  • Programming skills in R, Matlab, and/or Python, related to machine learning and AI
  • The ability to handle Big Data and conduct statistical analysis, using tools such as SAS and Tableau
  • The skill to query and program databases (SQL, No SQL), and knowledge of common cloud-based machine learning engines

Beyond the digital prowess, you will also need to clearly explain and validate your work to consultants and clients, using visualisations and examples in your communication. An advanced understanding of business and pricing strategy would also be a plus.
