Title: Remote AWS Data Engineer

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must be living in the Atlanta area)

We are searching for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the introduction and implementation of AWS, Spark, and PySpark from scratch. From engineering to leading teams, you'll be pivotal in designing and executing advanced analytics capabilities that will allow us to leverage the wealth of our data!
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Lead in the implementation of AWS, Spark, and PySpark, constructing and refining our data infrastructure to fully exploit our data's potential.
- Design and construct data pipeline architecture for consistent data delivery across different projects.
- Develop ETL infrastructure for optimal data processing from various sources.
- Work alongside a passionate and congenial team on a mission-critical initiative.
What We Look For:
- 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years as a Data Engineer.
- Expertise in creating scalable data ingestion & transformation pipelines using AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, and Spark.
- Extensive experience with tools like AWS Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, and orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Solid understanding of AWS architecture, Data modeling, and strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills.
- Must have experience with Big Data; Python and Spark are mandatory, experience with data streaming is a plus.
