Overview
BerryDunn is seeking a
Medicaid Data Scientist to join our Health Analytics Consulting Practice Group.
You will participate on a project team working with a State Medicaid Agency (SMA) client and Medicaid Modernization activities for the Practice with a focus on technical advisory services. This position is planned to sit remotely to support client work in the Northeastern US. An onsite presence will be needed, especially at the start of the contract. We will have an office located near the client. You will report to senior leaders in the Health Analytics Practice Group.
Travel Expectations: Approximately 50% travel to client sites is anticipated to support projects.
Responsibilities
You Will:
- Build relationships with project team members including client contacts, stakeholders, and vendor contacts
- Evaluate current systems and provide technical assistance and advice to clients and stakeholders on Medicaid enterprise system (MES) modernization efforts
- Review objectives with clients
- Help develop client deliverables such as complex analysis reports, ongoing status reports, data and technical strategy plans, and presentations
- Provide oversight of database reporting and analytics
- Communicate project and delivery status to our clients, team members, and other stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings and training with the project team including the client and client vendors to achieve project goals
Qualifications
You Have:
- Twelve (12) years' experience leading a database administrator (DBA) team in a large IT environment
- Five (5) years’ experience leading the design, creation, and management of an organization’s data architecture
- Two (2) years' experience implementing database security
- Three (3) years' experience using business intelligence/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Master’s degree in Data Science or Information Technology
Compensation Details
The base salary range targeted for this role is
$150,000 - $200,000 . This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations
