Our QInsure Business Performance and Optimisation team have an exciting opportunity for a
to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with Senior Analysts to complete analysis and provide insights of key system and performance data to assist in the optimisation of QInsure’s performance. This will include conducting business analysis, working with stakeholders to identify, analyse, communicate, validate and document requirements for business intelligence and analytics, whilst also identifying performance risks and opportunities through data and analysis.
This role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate well-developed analytical thinking with numerical and data problem solving skills as well as a solid understanding of business problems/processes, data, data structures and their value regarding use for analysis. Skills, Experience and Qualifications
will demonstrate some or most of the below:
Ability to quickly acquire expertise in business unit operations and processes, as well as an ability to understand insurance systems and capabilities
Demonstrated ability to acquire knowledge and experience leveraging business analytics to improve business performance
Demonstrated technical skills:
Intermediate SQL & Excel skills
Experience with one or more BI tools
Experience with one or more data visualisation tools
Experience leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources.
Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, IT or related discipline
Understanding of ETL and ELT systems, processes and data modelling methods (desirable)
Understanding of dimensional modelling concepts and practices (desirable)
Demonstrated experience of predictive modelling tools and techniques (desirable).
