As a member of the Data and Analytics organization, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and coordination of critical clinical data initiatives aimed at driving best-in-class solutions. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of foundational capabilities for clinical data solutions. You will collaborate with analytic partners and business partners from product strategy, program management, IT, data strategy, and predictive analytics teams to develop effective solutions for our partners.
As an engineering leader, you will be responsible to build and deliver best in class reusable foundational clinical data capabilities to integrate any clinical data, in any format and any frequency.
As a lead enterprise architect for the clinical data products, you will be driving the design and implementation of the bi-directional data pipelines integrating clinical data across multiple sources such as data exchange, data aggregators, and EHRs as well as enabling the current repository as a responder.
Engage with SAFe Agile teams for the foundational capabilities workstreams.
Synergize with the data SME lead and the delivery lead addressing requirements around engineering estimates and prioritizing technical debts in the solution stack
Communicating complex technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences.
Interface with business stakeholders, and other solution stakeholders to ensure data platform capabilities are leveraged and communicated.
Synergize with IT stakeholders, IT technical architects, and other solution and infrastructure owners making sure the data product design and architecture are aligned with the overall solution vision and roadmap.
Lead, coach, and mentor the highly skilled data engineering leads across foundation capabilities workstreams to augment critical deliverables in a timely fashion.

15+ years of professional experience in big data and analytics, enterprise data architecture, service-oriented frameworks, data integration and harmonization, data strategy and governance, high-performing data lakes, data operations and delivery and data ingestion frameworks supporting batch/real-time
5+ years of experience in leading architecture/engineering teams, cloud platforms and next generation data engineering/analytics toolsets.
Solid experience in Python, Java, Spark, Distributed computing techniques, Hadoop, Google Cloud Platform, Google Shared Services, Google Healthcare API, Data flow and Kubernetes enabled clusters
Strong knowledge on clinical data formats (HL7, FHIR, SNOWMED, LOINC etc..) and Interoperability
Balanced mix of experience between enterprise architecture patterns/frameworks (APIs, Microservices, Orchestration engine etc..) and the data architecture
Experience with Google Cloud Platform preferably Google Healthcare API and shared services relevant to clinical data management
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives and customers.
Strong technical leader who can roll-up their sleeves as and when needed.
Demonstrated problem solving abilities from ideation to implementation. Strategic mindset, develops talent and innovation, effectively manages complexity and ambiguity
Comprehensive knowledge on DevSecOps, Agile/SAFe methodologies, Google Cloud toolsets and capabilities

Knowledge on Machine Learning models, feature set preparation, text analytics and natural language processing functions
Healthcare industry experience preferably with clinical data products
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline.
Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
