about this team
This role would support our North American Guest insights team focused on delivering impactful analyses to the organization. This would facilitate driving personalized guest experiences that would drive higher engagements between guests and our brand.

a day in the life: what you’ll do
This individual is responsible for delivering analytics and data science capabilities across guest (customer) analytics and throughout the broader organization. We aim to provide impactful insights around our guests that establish and deliver the strategy and roadmap for sustained growth of analytics and data science capabilities at lululemon.

  • Support analysis and reporting projects from start to finish, identifying opportunities, defining the problem, building a proof of concept, and deploying a data product.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand the go-to market process, guest lifecycle, and guest strategy, and how data science products can enable excellence.
  • Enrich guest data through analysis, prediction, and modeling.Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data quality and availability.
  • Visualize and communicate results to senior leadership across the organization.

  • 2+ years of work experience in data analytics, preferably in the retail or apparel industries.
  • Knowledgeable in R and/or Python for data analysis.
  • 2+ years experience in SQL
  • Demonstrated experience applying machine learning and data mining techniques (preferred).
  • Previous work experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau and/or Shiny (preferred).
  • Technical storytelling skills including both verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of statistics including significance and test design.
