Role

We are looking for a candidate with strong technical skills and engineering drive.

You will be involved with developing various machine learning algorithms and working with the UI/UX as well as infrastructure teams to make the algorithms usable in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Support developing state of the art machine learning algorithms

• Packaging and producing deployable ML models

• Research and experimentation on different machine learning algorithms

• Understand and manipulate various types of data

PREREQUISITES

• based in Ottawa, Ontario or willing to relocate

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical and Computer Engineering or similar with courses related to machine learning

• Strong background in object-oriented programming

• Knowledge of statistics, neural networks and other machine learning algorithms

• Strong Python programming skills

• Experience in Tensorflow and/or Keras and/or PyTorch

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a team

• Excellent communication skills
